My stay at the hotel was quite disappointing overall. From the rude and nonchalant receptionist and the manager upon arrival to the dirty, smelly, and moldy rooms, it made me regret my decision to stay there. However, the service provided was very friendly and went above and beyond, which was a pleasant surprise.
Rooms
5.0
The rooms were horrible with a bad smell and an old TV. They were poorly insulated, which made the stay uncomfortable.
Service
9.0
The service was very friendly and exceeded my expectations, which was a redeeming quality of my stay.
Location
7.0
The location was great and very quiet for where it was, but being on a slippery hill in winter was a major drawback.
Dining
5.0
The dining options were very poor, with just basic continental flavors available, so I had to eat out.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities were lacking, and the value for money was not justified by the overall experience.

My stay at this hotel had its ups and downs. The location was convenient, close to Old Town of Montreal and China Town, but the immediate neighborhood was a little rough. The service left a lot to be desired, with slow and disorganized staff and limited customer service skills. The rooms were okay, but had holes in the sheets and it took multiple requests to get the temperature right. The dining options were basic, with just coffee and bagels available. On the bright side, the hotel is close to a metro station.

The hotel rooms were comfortable and clean, though not as spacious as expected. The service was a mix of rude and nice encounters. The location was fantastic for our trip but had noisy neighboring guests in the morning. The dining was adequate but could improve timing and options.
Rooms
8.0
The rooms, though not as big as they seemed online, were comfortable and clean, suitable for 3-4 people. Conveniently located right beside the breakfast area.
Service
6.0
The service had instances of being rude, notably when I asked for a second room key card, but some staff members were friendly. One individual seemed not fully present.
Location

The hotel is situated on a hill that can be very slippery in winter, but it is a great spot in Montreal's downtown. Ideal for a night's stay at a fair price.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience had its downsides, starting early and ending soon, limited options of corn flakes or bread, though offering organic fruits.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities met basic needs but could be more diverse and better timed for meals.
